Our client is a well-established, reputable General Contractor based in Kansas City, known for delivering high-quality commercial construction projects across the region. They specialize in a variety of sectors, including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Hospitality & Industrial, and are committed to maintaining long-term client relationships and fostering a strong internal team culture.
Description
- Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, including concrete restoration, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and cost control.
- Coordinate buyouts, subcontracts, and purchase orders in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Work closely with Superintendents to maintain schedule adherence, safety, and quality standards.
- Handle subcontractor negotiations, scope reviews, change orders, and invoice approvals.
- Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and lead project meetings.
- Ensure timely project closeout and collection of all final documentation and payments.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to recruiting efforts.
- Support business development by maintaining strong relationships with past and current clients.
Profile
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Brings 10+ years of experience in commercial construction
- Possesses strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable working on-site and maintaining daily oversight of active job sites.
- Proactive, professional, and committed to fostering high morale within the project team.
