The Senior Quality Engineer leads quality initiatives by developing processes, resolving issues through structured problem-solving methods, and ensuring compliance with quality standards across departments. Description

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement quality documentation such as procedures, work instructions, and lessons learned.

  • Interpret complex drawings and specifications to support product and process implementation.

  • Monitor and analyze quality trends, reporting findings to management.

  • Lead root cause and corrective action processes using problem-solving methodologies like PDCA and DMAIC.

  • Investigate customer, product, and supplier complaints, and manage corrective/preventive actions.

  • Train quality staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality control tools like PFMEA and Control Plans.

  • Support Materials Review Board (MRB) activities, including dispositioning nonconforming materials and submitting NCRs/CAPAs.

  • Use quality management software and tools such as IMSXpress, Discus FAI, and ProLink SPC to maintain quality standards.

Profile

The rquirements you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.

  • Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing or related industries, with strong knowledge of metal forming processes.

  • Solid understanding of quality management systems, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., PDCA, DMAIC).

  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and lead training sessions.

  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem resolution.
