Client Details
Our client was founded over 30 years ago as a drywall contractor in Baltimore, MD. After years of gaining a reputation built around excellence and superior service, they expanded their company to include real estate development, general contracting, and construction management. Their business is split up into Construction, Utilities, Interiors, and Development divisions. They are currently looking to grow their Utilities Division by bringing on an experienced Project Manager in their DC office.
Description
The Project Manager - Wet & Dry Utilities - Washington, DC will be responsible for:
- creating an accurate project takeoff and budget
- processing submittals
- working with the Superintendent to assess manpower, equipment, and subcontractor needs
- ordering materials
- handling subcontractor buyouts
- handling purchasing orders
- leading weekly meetings
- preparing and submitting billing
- providing regular progress reports
Profile
The Project Manager - Wet & Dry Utilities - Washington, DC will have:
- at least 5 years of experience in utilities construction
- utilities experience can be wet and/or dry utilities such as power, telecom, water, and sewer
- commercial project experience required, data center experience is preferred
- ability to build a schedule from scratch
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
