Drywall Estimator - Brooklyn, NY
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Estimator to join a leading drywall contractor in Brooklyn, specializing in high-end commercial and residential projects. If you have a strong background in estimating drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceilings and want to work on some of the most exciting projects in NYC, this role is for you.

Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for drywall, metal framing, and related interior finishes.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope and materials.
- Work closely with general contractors, architects, and project managers to develop competitive bids.
- Source pricing from vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Assist in pre-construction planning and provide value engineering recommendations.
Profile
- 3+ years of experience estimating drywall and interior finishes.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, takeoffs, and material pricing.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as OST, PlanSwift, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate with teams and clients.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
