Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction - DC Metro

Our client is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support multifamily construction projects in the Northern Virginia and DC Metro area. This role provides an opportunity to work with a highly experienced team, gain hands-on leadership experience, and contribute to high-quality, large-scale residential projects.

Description

• Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day onsite construction activities.

• Ensure project schedules are met by coordinating subcontractors, materials, and inspections.

• Monitor job site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations.

• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to resolve construction issues.

• Maintain quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications and company standards.

• Conduct daily reports and documentation of job progress.

Profile

• 2+ years of construction experience, preferably in multifamily or commercial projects.

• Knowledge of wood-frame, concrete, and steel construction.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

• Experience with scheduling software and construction management tools is a plus.

Job Offer

• Salary: $88,000 - $95,000
