Assistant Project Manager - Water and Wastewater

The Assistant Project Manager will support the management and execution of construction projects within the business services industry. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met.

Description

  • Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and report updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all project sites.
  • Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure quality control.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project records and documentation.

Profile

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Wastewater or water experience required
  • Pump station experience preffered
  • A strong understanding of construction project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
