Lead Superintendent- Lacey Washington

The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for the on-site coordination, planning, and execution of all aspects of the multifamily construction project. This position ensures that the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, maintaining the high standards of quality expected by our clients and stakeholders.

My client is a leading owner/builder of multifamily rental projects, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. They are currently seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee the construction of a Garden Style Project. This role is a great opportunity to lead and manage a complex project from start to finish.

Description

• Oversee all daily on-site construction activities for theGarden Style Project.
• Manage the full scope of work including wood frame construction, ensuring quality control, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with building codes.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, and architects to maintain clear communication and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage the project schedule, ensuring that milestones are met, and adjust as necessary to prevent delays.
• Lead and mentor site personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Review and approve construction drawings, submittals, and RFIs to ensure they are implemented correctly.
• Ensure safety policies and protocols are enforced and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Monitor budget adherence and work closely with the project manager to address any issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with all building codes and quality standards.

Profile

The successful candidate will be/have:

• Experience in multifamily construction, with a strong background in garden-style buildings.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large, complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well with a diverse team and multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is preferred.

Job Offer

$140,000-$160,000+ DOE
