We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer to join a leading contractor specializing in complex MEP and data center projects. Description
- Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing mission-critical projects.
- Support coordination of MEP systems and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Track budgets, timelines, and documentation to maintain project efficiency.
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in site visits and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Profile
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive professional eager to grow in the mission-critical construction space. They have a strong foundation in MEP systems and thrive in fast-paced environments. Flexibility to travel nationwide is essential, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. This person is tech-savvy, collaborative, and committed to learning from experienced project leaders while contributing to successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with exposure to MEP or mission-critical projects.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation.
- Willingness to travel nationally for project assignments.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
