Description
The Quality Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing will:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of quality processes to meet customer expectations.
- Oversee a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to support a quality-focused culture.
- Communicate the importance of quality standards across the organization, reinforcing each team member's role in quality.
- Address customer concerns and ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
- Respond to quality issues on the shop floor and manage corrective actions effectively.
- Prepare for customer and industry audits, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and other certifications.
- Collaborate across departments to improve internal and delivered quality performance.
- Onsite at our Jaffrey, New Hampshire facility
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
- Experience managing quality or continuous improvement in aerospace manufacturing - ideally coming from a Quality Manager title / position
- Successful track record as a team leader and motivator.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools: APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, SPC, Lean Six Sigma, and Auditing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- AS9100 & AS13100 knowledge strongly preferred.
- Local to Jaffrey, New Hampshire
