We are seeking a Development Associate to support the execution of premier residential and mixed-use development projects across South Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-caliber environment where you'll be involved in all phases of development-from site acquisition to project delivery.
Description
Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, you'll play a critical role in managing day-to-day project development activities including:
Coordinating with consultants, internal teams, and municipalities to secure entitlements and permits
Assisting with underwriting, due diligence, and financial modeling for new acquisitions and existing assets
Collaborating on project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
Supporting the design process and managing deliverables from architects, engineers, and consultants
Tracking project progress and maintaining reports, timelines, and development schedules
Supporting branding and marketing coordination and consultant agreement execution
Attending and documenting project meetings, ensuring action items are followed through
Liaising with internal departments including Construction, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Asset Management
Profile
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong project coordination and analytical skills. You should have:
Proven experience in real estate development, construction management, or related fields
Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies
Strong organization and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across concurrent projects
Familiarity with development proformas, budgets, and scheduling software a plus
A team-first mentality with a commitment to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement
Problem-solver with a hands-on, collaborative approach
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving project demands
Driven, curious, and resourceful-with a passion for real estate and development
