Construction Superintendent - NYC Public Projects

The Construction Superintendent - NYC Public Projects will be working for on-site for projects with the School Housing Authority (SCA) and similar Government projects New York City for the forseeable future. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Superintendent experience working on SCA projects and other large-scale, government ground-up projects.

Work for a General Contractor with a large pipeline of NYC Public works, including the School Housing Authority (SCA).

Description

• Manage daily on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment at all times.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address any quality control issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and logs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent large-scale ground-up projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain efficient schedules.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working on SCA or related public-sector projects is a must.
