Project Manager

The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage projects in Vancouver, WA. This role includes planning, coordinating, and executing projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Description

Project Planning & Execution:

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.

• Develop detailed project schedules and work plans to meet deadlines.

• Ensure projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

• Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges and delays.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.

• Track and control project expenses to ensure cost efficiency.

• Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.

• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Lead construction meetings, site visits, and progress reports.

• Ensure a collaborative and productive work environment with clear communication.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress.

• Address client concerns and ensure project expectations are met.

• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including city officials and inspectors.

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies on all job sites.

• Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections.

• Ensure all team members and subcontractors follow proper safety procedures.

Profile

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering mid-to-large-scale commercial projects.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in construction project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
