Description

• Execute daily production schedules based on staffing, safety stock, and sales priorities.
• Motivate and guide manufacturing leadership and staff to achieve operational goals.
• Partner with EHS to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Coordinate with planning and purchasing to ensure raw materials and equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and reduce scrap and rework through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven KPIs and lean methodologies.
• Optimize workflow, equipment layout, and workforce utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Prepare and present production reports, including plan vs. actual performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, and Purchasing.
• Build employee engagement through positive leadership and open communication.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (plastics experience preferred).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, and 5S principles; certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills.
• Familiarity with safety, quality, inventory, and production planning processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required); ERP and Power BI experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.
• Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends as needed.
