Description
- Manage On-Site Operations: Oversee daily construction activities at multiple project sites, ensuring projects run efficiently and according to plan.
- Drive Project Progress: Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
- Ensure Quality & Safety: Implement and enforce strict quality control measures and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Deliver Projects On-Time: Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring timely completion while meeting project specifications and client expectations.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Serve as the main point of contact on-site, communicating with project managers, clients, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any issues and ensure alignment.
- Operate Efficiently: Manage materials, equipment, and labor resources to optimize performance and minimize delays.
- Run Progress Meetings: Lead regular on-site meetings to provide updates, discuss project progress, and address any challenges or adjustments needed.
- Create & Maintain Reports: Track project milestones, budgets, and productivity, generating detailed reports for senior management on the status of each project.
- Problem-Solve & Troubleshoot: Address any unexpected issues or delays on-site, implementing quick, effective solutions to keep the project moving forward.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building codes, permits, and safety regulations throughout the construction process.
Profile
- Extensive Construction Experience: 8+ years of experience in commercial construction, particularly managing large-scale projects, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Strong Leadership Skills: A confident leader who can effectively manage and motivate on-site teams, fostering collaboration and driving top performance across multiple projects.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating with subcontractors, project managers, and clients, and resolving issues promptly.
- Problem Solver & Decision Maker: Adept at identifying problems early and developing effective, proactive solutions to minimize delays and keep projects on track.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: Meticulous attention to detail in managing project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Technologically Proficient: Comfortable using construction management software and other digital tools to streamline project tracking, reporting, and resource management.
- Commitment to Safety & Quality: Passionate about enforcing safety regulations and maintaining high-quality standards across all projects.
- Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel extensively, managing multiple projects and adapting to different job sites.
