Scientific Affairs Manager
The Scientific Affairs Manager will serve as the scientific backbone of our ingredient strategy-leading the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical research studies to validate the efficacy and safety of key ingredients used in our products. This individual will work cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure our innovation pipeline is rooted in credible, high-quality science.

Description
- Design, lead, and manage clinical studies (pilot and full-scale) to support the efficacy and safety of new or existing ingredients
- Interpret and communicate scientific findings internally and externally (e.g., for claims substantiation, regulatory filings, and marketing content)
- Collaborate with product development and innovation teams to evaluate the scientific credibility of new ingredient concepts
- Author white papers, literature reviews, and scientific dossiers to support product positioning
- Monitor emerging science, trends, and competitor activity in relevant areas of human health and nutrition
- Build and maintain relationships with CROs, academic institutions, and external clinical research partners
- Represent the company at scientific conferences, panels, and symposia as needed
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs to ensure all health claims and clinical work adhere to regulatory requirements globally
Profile
- Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences, Pharmacology, Biomedical Science, Clinical Research, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in clinical research or scientific affairs within the health & wellness, dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of clinical trial design, GCP guidelines, biostatistics, and data interpretation
- Experience managing clinical studies end-to-end, including protocol design, CRO oversight, and publication strategy
- Proven ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience writing peer-reviewed publications or scientific reports a plus
- Passion for science-driven product development in the wellness space
