Compliance Onboarding Consultant
The SMA Solutions Active Onboarding professional is responsible for onboarding new accounts, ensuring accurate processing and timely release for trading. The role involves reviewing client information, managing account updates, approving contracts, and maintaining existing accounts, requiring strong attention to detail, financial operations knowledge, and proficiency in Excel, Aladdin, and Fiserv APL.

Our client is a leading global investment management firm with an office in Princeton, NJ, specializing in asset management, risk management, and advisory services for institutional and retail clients. The firm is known for its expertise in investment technology, portfolio management, and financial analytics, offering innovative solutions across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
Description
- Onboard new accounts, ensuring accurate setup and timely release for trading.
- Review and maintain client account data, including restrictions, billing, and updates.
- Approve client contracts and ensure compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve onboarding issues.
- Utilize financial tools like Excel, Aladdin, and Fiserv APL for processing and analysis.
- Support audits and improve onboarding processes for efficiency.
Profile
- Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Aladdin and Fiserv APL (preferred), and basic coding skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, investment operations, and business processes.
