We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects in the Columbia market. This role is ideal for an organized, solutions-oriented leader who can manage project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Description
The Project Manager - Education & Industrial Construction Projects - Columbia will be responsible for:
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from planning to closeout.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
- Lead buyout, contract negotiations, and procurement activities.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present project reports, cost updates, and schedule forecasts.
- Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring projects meet cost and quality expectations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and trade partners.
Profile
The Project Manager - Education & Industrial Construction Projects- Columbia should have:
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and lead project teams.
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore or similar preferred).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
