Construction Project Coordinator
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator with strong Procore experience. This role will focus on ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects by providing exceptional coordination and support.
Client Details
Our client is a Manhattan-based boutique general contractor specializing in high-quality commercial projects throughout New York City. Our team is small, collaborative, and detail-driven, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, organization, and client service. We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator with strong Procore experience to support our project management and construction teams.
Description
Serve as the primary administrator for Procore, ensuring accurate and timely project documentation
Set up and maintain projects in Procore, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and photo documentation
Assist Project Managers with:
- RFIs, submittals, and change order tracking
- Procurement logs and subcontractor documentation
- Budget and cost tracking support
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to collect required documents (COIs, contracts, submittals, certifications)
- Distribute drawings, updates, and project communications to internal and external teams
- Maintain organized digital and physical project records
- Support project closeout, including as-builts, warranties, and turnover documentation
- Attend project meetings as needed and assist with meeting minutes and follow-up items
Interface with accounting and operations teams to support billing, pay applications, and compliance

Profile
A successful Project Coordinator should have:
- 2-5 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Administrator role within construction
- Strong working knowledge of Procore (required)
- Experience working with a General Contractor (NYC experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
