Description
As a Process Engineer in the molding department, you will be responsible for improving process efficiency, qualifying new molds and machines, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong technical expertise and hands-on involvement in troubleshooting and process development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize molding processes for higher quality and output.
- Qualify new molds and machines, and approve process changes.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance to technicians.
Profile
The ideal Process Engineer candidate is an experienced plastics professional with strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of molding technology. You should be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working collaboratively with production teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics or related field.
- 4+ years of plastic processing experience in molding operations.
- Ability to read blueprints and proficiency with technical software.
