Description
The responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager - Academic Dorm Renovation
- Project Management: Oversee and lead this 3 year long project from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Preconstruction/Project Planning: Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to develop detailed project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Design-Build: Work closely with the design team to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and building codes.
- Construction Management: Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality control, and timely project delivery.
- General Contracting: Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and resolution of issues.
- Self Perform Capabilities: Oversee and supervise in-house construction activities, leveraging self-perform capabilities to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Profile
The successful Construction Project Manager - Academic Dorm Renovation
- 7-12 years of Project Management experience leading their own project
- Multifamily or Mixed-Use project experience
- Soft Skills **great communicator, be able to interact/ communicate with clients**
- A passion for commercial real estate
- Civil Engineering background, contractor or developer
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Blue beam, Procore, P6, BIM/VDC
- The ability to work On-Site Daily
