HR Director - Financial Services - NYC (Fully onsite) - $160K
Join a private investment firm as an HR Operations Director where you'll lead strategic people initiatives, advise senior leadership, and manage core HR functions with autonomy. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. This is a fully onsite position in Manhattan.

The HR team supports a diverse and driven employee base and plays a key role in enabling business success through thoughtful people strategies.
Description
- Oversee and enhance all HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and HR systems
- Manage U.S. benefits administration, including open enrollment, vendor relationships, and leave programs (e.g. FMLA, parental leave)
- Collaborate with payroll providers to ensure accurate data flow and processing
- Provide high-touch support to employees, ensuring a seamless experience across the full employee lifecycle
- Drive process improvement and documentation across HR programs and policies
- Partner on immigration/visa processes and liaise with legal and external counsel as needed
- Support broader People initiatives and jump into cross-functional HR projects as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership
Profile
- 9-12+ years of HR experience, ideally in financial services or a similarly fast-paced environment
- Expertise in HR operations, benefits administration, leave management, and onboarding
- Exposure to payroll processes and compliance
- Immigration/visa experience strongly preferred
- Highly proactive, ethical, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable in a flat, highly team-oriented structure
- Bachelor's degree required
