Marketing Specialist

Our client is a software startup who is seeking a Marketing Specialist for their Woodland office. In this role, you will have your hands in experiential marketing, event management, brand building, and marketing campaigns. This is an exciting time to join a growing company & team!

Description

• Work closely with the Co-Founders who are based in the Woodland office
• Oversee experiential marketing channels including: conferences, webinars, podcasts, & breakfast shows
• Conceptualize and host podcasts, webinars, and customer interviews to position the company as a thought leader in the industry
• Oversee event management; plan, coordinate, and execute in-person & virtual events
• Develop event themes, agendas, and logistics to align with business goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to align themes with overall brand strategy
• Handle marketing campaigns from start to finish
• Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and related initiatives
• Oversee content creation, email marketing, and social media outreach to drive event registrations and engagement
• Manage the budget for online/in-person events and marketing activities
• Measure the success of brand-building activities and propose improvements

Profile

• Completed Bachelors Degree is required
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event planning and customer engagement
• Proven experience in hosting successful in-person and virtual events
• Creative mindset with a passion for brand-building and storytelling
• Strongly proficient using Microsoft, Google Suite, Adobe
• Experience meeting KPIs
• Experience working for SaaS Platforms is a plus
• Experience in media content production is a plus
• Must be able to work on-site in The Woodland area
