Superintendent - OSHPD
As a OSHPD Superintendent, you will oversee the planning, construction, and compliance of healthcare facilities in California, ensuring they meet state regulations and safety standards. They manage the review and approval of healthcare facility designs, ensuring they align with health, safety, and accessibility requirements.

Description
- Oversee the planning, design, and construction of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with state regulations and safety standards.
- Review and approve building plans and specifications for healthcare facility projects.
- Ensure all projects adhere to the California Building Standards Code and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and healthcare providers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to stakeholders regarding healthcare facility design and construction requirements.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and recommendations for regulatory compliance and project approvals.
Profile
- 4+ years of field experience, preferably in OSHPD construction
- Experience in managing multiple employees
- Combination of education and experience to be able to perform the essential duties of the position
- Knowledge of industry methods of scheduling, contracting, cost reporting, safety, and quality
- Ability to understand and implement the technical aspects of construction
- Ability to manage, coach, lead and train subordinates
