My client is looking for a Healthcare superintendent to join their team based in Sterling, Virginia. Projects will be in Fairfax and Loudoun County.

Description

Superintendent - Healthcare Projects - Fairfax,VA responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of building and construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify any issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal team members.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
• Troubleshoot any problems that may arise during the construction process and implement appropriate solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and permits.

Profile

Superintendent - Healthcare Projects - Fairfax,VA will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• 5-7 years of experience, open to seeing people with less experience
• needs to have health care experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with LEED principles and sustainable construction practices is a plus.
