Legal Technology Lead, Strategic Transactions
This role leads the adoption and integration of advanced legal technology and AI tools across the Strategic Transactions group. It focuses on enhancing transactional workflows, supporting deal teams, and driving innovation in client delivery and internal efficiency.

Description
- Lead the development and implementation of technology solutions to support strategic transactions in the legal department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
- Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement using technology.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the application of technology solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the integration of third-party tools into existing systems.
- Provide training and support to team members on new technologies and systems.
- Monitor performance metrics and report on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging legal technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.

Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- J.D. with 5+ years of legal practice experience, ideally within transactional deal environments.
- Strong understanding of deal processes and issues in complex transactions.
- Hands‑on familiarity with legal AI tools and demonstrated interest in innovation.
- Excellent communication, project management, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Skilled in problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and working across professional teams.
- Comfortable presenting, training, and demonstrating leadership in technology‑enabled initiatives.
