My client, who specializes in chemical manufacturing, is looking for a Plant Manager for their chemical manufacturing plant near Torrington, CT. This person will be responsible for delivering production performance targets, as well as leading and developing high-performing teams.

Description
The Plant Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering production performance targets
- Leading and developing high-performing teams
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, health and environmental regulations
- Upholding PSM, OSHA and ISO 9001 environmental requirements
- Driving continuous improvement and process optimization
- Applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and TPM methodologies
- Improving and maintaining product quality performance

Profile
The ideal Plant Manager should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency using ERP systems
- Skilled in operational budget management and capital project recommendations
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience
- 5+ years of managing multi-functional teams
- Proven expertise in chemical processes, unit operations and process control systems
Job Offer
- A base salary range of $130,000 - $180,000
