Supply Chain and Procurement Lead

$70,000 - $85,000/Year

My client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain and Purchasing Lead to oversee all aspects of material procurement, logistics coordination, and supply chain operations. This critical role ensures that projects are executed on time and within budget by managing vendor relationships, purchase orders, inbound/outbound logistics, and cost control strategies. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities.

Client Details



Procurement & Purchasing

  • Lead all purchasing activities, including processing and tracking purchase orders for materials and equipment.

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, product availability, and quality standards.

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date pricing and availability to Pre-Construction, Sales, and Project Management teams.

  • Procure specialty tools, supplies, and equipment as directed by management.



Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination

  • Monitor and manage inbound and outbound deliveries to and from job sites, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics.

  • Track all shipping documents, packing slips, and delivery confirmations, maintaining organized records for audit and project tracking.

  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure scheduled deliveries align with project timelines.



Cost Management & Estimating Support

  • Actively manage material costs to meet or exceed profit and margin goals.

  • Support estimators with accurate material cost data for bids, proposals, and change orders.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate project invoicing.



Project & Documentation Support

  • Maintain well-organized project folders, including notes, technical specs, quotes, and procurement records.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining standardized processes and documentation for project execution and compliance.

  • Keep internal teams informed of changes in material availability, pricing, or logistics issues.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing coordination roles.

  • Experience working in construction, manufacturing, or a project-driven environment is an asset.

  • Familiarity with ERP or procurement software platforms.
