Michael Page- Network Engineer W2 Only
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer to support and optimize our rapidly expanding infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems while interacting with network services and networked servers. This role is located in Houston, Texas and onsite 4x a week.

Description
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current networks.
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment.
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Arranging scheduled upgrades and maintaining multiple data center networks.
- Investigating faults in the network and reporting network status to key stakeholders.
- Providing technical support to stakeholders and guiding them without technical jargon.
- Ensuring all IT equipment complies with industry standards.
- Analyzing, establishing, and enforcing technology standards, regulations, and rules.

Profile
Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
Hands-on experience in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, network security).
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture, components, and services, including VMs,
networking, storage, and security
Working knowledge of AWS cloud environment preferred
Proficiency in network configuration tools such as Panorama and command-line interfaces (CLI)
for managing network devices.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues.
Experience with Microsoft 365 suite and ability to setup and assist end-users with basic issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and network
users to provide end-user support.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
A problem-solving and analytical mindset to diagnose and troubleshoot network and end-user
issues effectively.
A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest networking
technologies and best practices.
Willing to travel occasionally
