AVP, IT Security Specialist
Candidates must have hands-on experience with AWS cloud security; applications without this specific expertise will not be considered.
This role is responsible for engineering, maintaining, and enhancing the firm's security solutions across on-premise and cloud environments to strengthen the organization's overall cyber resilience.

Description
Maintain and Enhance Security Controls: Operate and support security tools such as SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management across firm's infrastructure.
Implement Security Solutions: Design and integrate consistent security measures for both on-premise and cloud environments to align with cyber resilience goals.
Support Regulatory Compliance: Ensure security procedures meet regulatory requirements and take ownership of audit findings for timely resolution.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with architecture, operations, project management, and global IT teams to deliver and support security initiatives.
Contribute to Security Strategy: Participate in developing and executing security strategy, researching new technologies to maintain a best-in-class security posture.
Profile
- Skilled in AWS Cloud Security: Demonstrates hands-on experience implementing and managing security controls in AWS environments.
Experienced in Security Engineering: Brings at least 5 years of information security experience, including 2+ years focused on cloud security environments.
Technically Proficient: Possesses deep knowledge of tools like SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network security technologies.
Strategic and Operational Thinker: Capable of balancing hands-on security operations with contributions to long-term security strategy and architectural decisions.
Strong Communicator: Able to clearly articulate technical concepts and business risks to both technical teams and senior leadership.
Certified and Knowledgeable: Holds relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security) and understands key frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SANS Top 20.
Job Offer
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $145,000 to $165,000, based on experience, along with a discretionary annual bonus.
