Senior Investment and Cost Controller
The Senior Investment & Cost Controller is responsible for overseeing capital expenditure (CAPEX) performance, managing cost controls, and ensuring financial discipline across projects and operational initiatives. This position partners with cross-functional leadership to provide accurate financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis to support strategic decision-making and maximize return on investment.

Investment & Capital Management
Monitor and analyze investment performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic targets
Develop financial models and perform investment appraisals (ROI, NPV, IRR)
Provide risk analysis and data-driven insights to support capital allocation decisions
Track capital expenditures and ensure alignment with approved investment plans
Cost Control & Budget Oversight
Develop and manage budgets for cost centers and capital projects
Analyze cost variances and recommend efficiency improvements
Maintain and enhance cost control systems and procedures
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare recurring management reports on cost performance and investments
Deliver variance analysis with actionable recommendations
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements
Assist with internal and external audits related to capital projects and cost management
Maintain documentation supporting investment approvals and cost oversight
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with procurement, accounting, project teams, and senior leadership
Provide financial guidance to support operational and strategic initiatives
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
3+ years of relevant experience, including financial planning and analysis
Experience with capital expenditures, capital budgeting, and financing decisions
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in SAP, OneStream, and other financial systems
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
Knowledge of GAAP required; IFRS knowledge preferred
