Senior Project Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer will play a key role in managing and coordinating construction projects within the residential real estate space, biased towards LIHTC affordable housing. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensure the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.

Description

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays proactively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all job sites.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed.
• Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and equipment efficiently.

Profile

A successful Senior Project Engineer should have:

• A strong background in property development or construction management.
• Affordable housing experience would be a HUGE plus.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• A degree in architecture, engineering (mechanical or electrical or civil), or a related field.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
