Assistant Project Manager - Chicago

Assist in managing public-sector builds from preconstruction through closeout, working with seasoned PMs and cross-functional teams.

Client Details

A family-owned construction firm with 40 years in the Chicago market. Roughly 60 employees, focused on municipal and K-12 facilities projects.

Description

• Review drawings, specs, and project documents
• Maintain project schedules and budgets
• Conduct jobsite walks to verify progress
• Manage project documentation and reporting

Profile

• 2-5 years' experience in commercial or public-sector construction
• Strong understanding of construction documents
• Experience with scheduling software (P6, MS Project)
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
