Benefits Specialist - Onsite Lakewood NJ - Up to $75K
The Benefits Specialist plays a key role in managing and supporting the administration of employee benefits programs for clients, including group health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans. This individual will serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients and their employees, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Benefits Specialist to join the team in Lakewood, NJ.
Description
- Consult with clients on benefit plan design, implementation, and renewals.
- Manage end-to-end benefits administration including enrollments, terminations, and changes.
- Provide expert guidance on benefit offerings, compliance (ACA, COBRA, ERISA), and best practices.
- Serve as liaison between clients, carriers, and third-party administrators.
- Troubleshoot and resolve benefits-related issues for client groups and their employees.
- Prepare and present employee benefits materials, including presentations and communications.
- Assist in conducting open enrollment meetings and webinars.
- Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes affecting benefits administration.
- Support the development of internal processes and documentation for efficient workflow.
Profile
- 3-5+ years of experience in employee benefits, preferably within an insurance brokerage or agency setting.
- In-depth knowledge of group health insurance products and relevant compliance regulations.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with benefits administration platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
