General Manager

Seeking an experienced General Manager with 10+ years of leadership in manufacturing to oversee all aspects of daily operations at one of our Client's production facilities. The General Manager will work collaboratively with executive leadership, other manufacturing sites, and cross-functional teams including sales and marketing. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Operations.

Description

Operational Leadership

• Lead and manage all plant functions, including production, maintenance, quality, materials, HR, and security.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational forecasts to meet business objectives.
• Oversee workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning for leadership and production teams.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and lead labor relations as required.
• Serve as the primary owner of new product introductions, working closely with the Product Strategy team to ensure successful launches.

Production & Supply Chain Management

• Establish and manage production schedules aligned with volume, cost, and quality goals.
• Oversee daily supply chain activities, including material procurement and inventory management.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and hold teams accountable for achieving targets.
• Collaborate with other facilities to resolve operational challenges and share best practices.
• Ensure robust quality control systems are implemented and maintained.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain full compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety and regulatory standards.
• Implement plant-wide safety procedures and lead ongoing safety training programs.
• Ensure physical security protocols are consistently followed.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on Lean principles, process optimization, and waste reduction.
• Analyze operational data to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Develop strategies to elevate team capability and support a culture of operational excellence.

Profile

• 10+ years of managerial experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, quality control procedures, safety regulations, and budgeting.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, Lean Mfg., and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering.

Job Offer

• Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000
