Senior Project Manager - Diverse Projects - General Contractor
Senior Project Manager opportunity with an established General Contractor expanding its Columbus presence. This role offers the chance to lead a variety of high-profile projects while playing a key role in the growth of a well-backed local office.

Our client is a well-respected Ohio-based General Contractor with over 90 years of success across the state. As they continue to grow their Columbus operations, they are building out a strong leadership team to support an expanding pipeline of commercial and multifamily projects.
They are known for delivering high-quality work, maintaining long-term client relationships, and providing the stability and resources of a well-established contractor.
Description
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Managing project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and implementing solutions
- Preparing and presenting project updates to leadership and clients
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations
- Negotiating contracts with subcontractors and vendors
- Mentoring and developing project managers and project engineers
- Facilitating communication across all project stakeholders
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring high standards of execution
- Managing project documentation including contracts, RFIs, and change orders
- Coordinating project closeout and client turnover
Profile
The Senior Project Manager will have:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- Proven experience managing large-scale commercial or multifamily projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations
- Leadership experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting
- Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Experience with contract negotiation and subcontractor management
- Commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture
- PMP or similar certification is a plus
Job Offer
The Senior Project Manager will be offered:
- $130,000 - $150,000 base salary depending on experience
- Bonus typically ranging from $15,000 - $20,000 in year one
