Description
As a Quality Control Manager - Federal Projects - Top Local GC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards across a variety of large-scale, complex construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality control aspects of these projects, from pre-construction planning through project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submittal Management: Oversee and manage all submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Three-Phase Inspection Program: Plan, schedule, and conduct inspections as part of our quality assurance processes.
- Quality Control Inspections: Perform inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Daily Reporting: Provide regular and detailed reports on project quality control, progress, and safety.
- Safety Assistance: Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety standards are maintained.
Profile
The Quality Control Manager - Federal Projects - Top Local GC will have the following:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, OR an Associate's degree with at least 10 years of construction experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with strong expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.
- Certifications: CQM Certification and/or QC Certificate from the Corps of Engineers are highly preferred. Proficiency in RS Means or Procore is also a plus.
- Government Experience: Previous experience working with government clients, particularly in federal projects, is highly preferred.
