Technical Program Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Program Manager to join our Financial Services industry team within the Technology department. The ideal candidate will oversee project management processes and ensure the successful delivery of technology-driven initiatives in New York.

This role is a long term contract and hybrid!

Description

• Lead complex, cross‑functional engineering projects from inception to production.
• Drive resource planning, project timelines, metrics definition, and cost analysis.
• Serve as project lead/scrum master, owning planning, stand‑ups, sprint ceremonies, and reporting.
• Identify and resolve workflow, process, technical, and resourcing blockers.
• Maintain project health dashboards, communicate risks, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to TPM standards and contribute to new tooling and frameworks.
• Lead user engagement and change‑management activities-including outreach, communication, and UAT coordination.
• Support larger strategic planning cycles (annual + tertile) as needed.

Profile

• Strong Jira & Confluence expertise
• On‑Prem to Cloud Migration Experience
• Must have led or supported cloud migration initiatives, ideally multi‑phase or multi‑year programs.
• Excellent Communication & User Engagement Skills
• Comfortable working with end users, running UAT, and driving adoption.
• 7+ years of technical industry experience
• Experience as a Technical Program Manager, Software Engineer, or Engineering Manager. AI/ML, Big Data, or financial services exposure are pluses but not required.
• Proven track record leading complex programs
• Strong planning, analytical skills, and background in Agile project delivery.
• Clear, business‑friendly communication style
• Able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences and build collaborative relationships.
