Purchasing Specialist

Responsible for purchasing raw materials, factory equipment, and other parts while ensuring timely order tracking, delivery, and cost effective-sourcing. Other responsibilities include handling vendor communication, cost-saving or quality reports, and accounting or inventory discrepancies.

Description

• Create and manage daily domestic and international purchase orders.
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery and confirm receipt of materials.
• Procure metals (steel, coils, rods) and factory equipment/tools.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate pricing.
• Prepare cost-saving reports.
• Resolve quality, accounting and inventory discrepancies.
• Handle non-conforming materials promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate vendor shipments and manage related communications.
• Must have the ability to lift objects weighing 20 lbs., maintain equipment, and access various areas of the facility.

Profile
