Environmental Project Manager
An Environmental Project Manager specializing in remediation oversees the assessment and cleanup of contaminated sites, ensuring projects meet environmental regulations and health standards. They coordinate technical teams, manage budgets and timelines, and develop strategies to restore land and water resources safely and sustainably.
Client Details
Our client is a remediation-focused environmental company with over 30 years of experience serving private, public, industrial, and commercial clients across the Mid-Atlantic region, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. They specialize in soil and groundwater remediation, emergency response, underground storage tank removal, environmental construction, and mobile groundwater treatment systems, using innovative strategies and specialized equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and environmental safety.
Description
- Lead environmental remediation projects from planning through execution and closure.
 - Assess contaminated sites through environmental investigations and risk analysis.
 - Develop and implement cleanup strategies for soil, groundwater, and hazardous materials.
 - Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws.
 - Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple sites.
 - Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, scientists, and contractors.
 - Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
 - Engage with clients and communities to communicate project goals and progress.
 - Oversee health and safety protocols during field operations and site work.
 - Monitor and evaluate remediation effectiveness through sampling and data analysis.

Profile
A successful Environmental Project Manager should have:
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards within the property and construction industries.
 - Proven project management skills with the ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
 - Proficiency in creating detailed project plans, reports, and presentations.
 - Ability to identify and mitigate environmental risks effectively.
 - A degree or certification in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
