Client Details

A highly respected healthcare‑focused general contractor with deep roots in Texas is seeking a Senior Estimator/Preconstruction Manager to join their team and prepare to step into a future leadership role within the preconstruction department. Description

  • Meeting with clients and design teams, and developing strategies to attract new clients
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with Trade Partners, staying informed on current pricing, labor demands, and material lead times
  • Conduct budget presentations with clients, design teams, and internal project teams
  • Participate in pre-bid efforts in collaboration with Trade Partners, ensuring a smooth bidding process
  • Take-off and pricing tasks
  • Coordinate subcontractor bids and budgeting processes
  • Assist in estimating and tab sheet preparation
  • Apply cost knowledge to develop Conceptual and Schematic Level Budgets with provided information
  • Help manage client and design team expectations regarding costs, schedules, logistics, and quality
  • Coordinate closely with Field Operations Teams

Profile

  • 8-10+ years of estimating/preconstruction management experience
  • Experience with specialized healthcare renovations, medical office buildings, ground up healthcare, higher education, religious projects, and/or other commercial work
  • Understanding of LEAN Construction concepts is a plus
  • Able to read drawings and specifications
  • Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality
