The APM - Government/Commercial Construction - Falls Church, VA will be responsible for:
- Managing all phases of construction projects, including estimating, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
- Overseeing both self-performed and subcontracted work, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Providing regular updates to senior leadership and clients on project progress.
- Assisting with the preparation and management of project budgets, change orders, and contract negotiations.
Profile
The APM - Government/Commercial Construction - Falls Church, VA will have:
- B.S. degree in engineering or construction management
- At least 7 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, or 12+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- Strong background in government contracting preferred
- Proven skills in managing subcontracted and self-performed work
- Proficient in construction-related software
- Possess safety certifications
- Experience with high-profile clients such as HUD and government agencies
