Our client, a growing general contractor in Northern Virginia, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in occupied healthcare renovations. This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and is passionate about delivering complex projects that directly impact patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage healthcare renovation projects in active hospital environments, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
  • Oversee field teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a strong presence on-site and in the office, with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule based on performance and project needs.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, especially when working in sensitive areas such as ICUs and birthing units

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing in-patient hospital renovation projects.
  • Proven success leading teams on complex, occupied space construction projects.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Based in or willing to work in Northern Virginia, with occasional travel to nearby project sites.
