Sr. Manager - Aftermarket - Aerospace and Defense Components
The Sr. Manager - Aftermarket role focuses on driving sales and managing relationships within the aerospace and defense sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented professional to make a significant impact in the Component Industry.

Description
- Lead global aftermarket strategy, identifying and executing growth opportunities across commercial and military sectors
- Oversee spare parts logistics, repair turnaround, and field service operations, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards
- Manage financial performance of the aftermarket segment, including revenue forecasting, margin optimization, and pricing strategy
- Build and lead a high-performing global team across service centers and customer support functions
- Develop and manage relationships with distribution and MRO partners to expand market reach
- Drive new business development initiatives, including proposal development, bid/no-bid decisions, and contract negotiations
- Identify and qualify new market, product, and program opportunities (PMA, SAR, STCs) aligned with customer needs and long-term trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, sales, and executive leadership to align on strategic growth plans
- Represent the company at industry events and customer engagements (approx. 25% travel)
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Profile
- 10+ years of experience in aftermarket, business development, or sales leadership within aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing
- Proven success in managing distribution and MRO partnerships
- Strong understanding of the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract execution
- Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or technical background preferred
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills and strong financial acumen
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders and navigating complex customer environments
