FP&A Director

The Director of FP&A will define the strategic vision and priorities for the financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting function. This role delivers critical insights that enable data‑driven decision‑making and support long‑term business growth.

Description

* Lead PDS reviews to strengthen skill development and performance, using the tool to drive consistent evaluations, outline clear improvement actions, measure progress, and reinforce broad adoption within the Finance organization. Promote and model Company culture across the team.

* Guide the team in analyzing financial performance against Prior Year and AOP, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that can drive growth or cost savings. Partner closely with cross‑functional leaders to highlight insights, monitor progress, and proactively address performance gaps to ensure delivery of the annual plan.

* Continuously challenge, refine, and enhance financial processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and recommend processes aligned with company policies, communicate updates, provide necessary training, and ensure strong compliance and flawless execution.

* Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to support the growth and career advancement of team members. Maintain a clear understanding of individual career goals and work to build and retain strong successors within the Finance organization.

* Analyze complex financial data to deliver accurate, timely insights and recommendations to leadership. Oversee the Annual Operating Plan process and interpret advanced financial concepts to support forecasting, planning, and strategic decision‑making.

* Drive comprehensive analysis of financial statements through monthly performance reviews, using KPI‑driven insights to identify trends, connect operational and commercial results to financial outcomes, and support the creation of actionable business plans.

* Ensure financial systems, reporting, and analyses produce clear, actionable information that supports growth and performance improvement. Contribute to earnings expansion through cost‑saving initiatives, margin analysis, and identifying opportunities to enhance pricing and reduce costs.


Profile

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Demonstrated success working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
* Proactive, adaptable mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
* Experience in budgeting, planning, and financial analysis
* Advanced computer proficiency and strong comfort working with technology and financial systems
* Exceptional analytical skills with experience managing and interpreting large datasets
* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced settings
* At least 5 years of experience with US GAAP reporting and other statutory requirements
* Strong financial modeling capabilities; advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial planning systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Oracle, SAP)
