Description
- Oversee and manage projects from initiation to completion
- Lead and supervise the project administration team and construction engineers, while collaborating with project superintendents to set operational priorities
- Accountable for forecasting, tracking, and reporting project costs and revenue, ensuring alignment with project estimates
- Handle problem resolution related to labor disputes, staffing, materials, equipment, and contract/subcontract administration
- Work closely with the construction Safety Manager to ensure projects meet established safety objectives
- Build strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RFI logs and change orders
Profile
- 7+ years of experience with a commercial contractor
- Proven track record as a Project Manager on commercial, educational, historic, hospitality, and/or public projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent time management, ensuring timely and thorough project completion
- Team management experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the current construction market and latest technologies
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Proficiency in software and technology is a bonus
