Sales Manager, North America - AGV Mobile Robotics
As the Sales Manager you will be working for a subsidiary of the market's leader in food processing equipment. You also will work with the premium brand within their AGV vertical.
Client Details
A long‑established European manufacturer specializing in automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and mobile robotic transport systems. The company has operated since the 1990s and is known for high‑customization engineering, building tailored autonomous vehicles for demanding industrial environments.
It produces indoor and outdoor AGVs, heavy‑capacity transport units, fork‑based and narrow‑aisle vehicles, and specialized shuttles for integration with production lines and warehouses. It has deployed hundreds of AGVs globally and was acquired by a large U.S. industrial technology group in 2022.
Description
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Design and execute a North American go‑to‑market plan, identifying priority regions, high‑ROI industries, and target customers for autonomous material‑handling technologies.
- Analyze customer operational challenges and align them with tailored robotic solutions.
Full‑Cycle Enterprise Sales
- Lead complex sales engagements from early-stage discovery through solution shaping, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Build long-term customer relationships through strong account management and an understanding of multi‑stakeholder buying cycles.
Channel & Ecosystem Development
- Build a network of integrators, distributors, and strategic partners to extend commercial reach.
- Represent the company at major industry conferences, expos, and automation events across North America.
Customer & Site Engagement
- Conduct on-site assessments with operations leaders, engineers, and executives to understand facility workflows and propose custom autonomous vehicle deployments.
Revenue Ownership
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to set ambitious sales goals and deliver consistent overachievement.

Profile
- 5+ years selling AGVs, AMRs, industrial automation, or other capital equipment solutions.
- Strong technical foundation-ideally in mechatronics, robotics, industrial engineering, or related disciplines.
- A track record of consistent quota‑beating performance in complex B2B sales.
- Deep familiarity with U.S. enterprise buying processes and long‑cycle account management.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. to engage customers onsite.
