Project Manager - Ground up Commercial - ME
We're partnered with a well‑established general contractor seeking a skilled Commercial Project Manager capable of leading ground-up projects valued at $10M+. This role offers autonomy, APM support, and the ability to grow within a financially strong, family‑run organization.
Client Details
Our client is a general contractor with over 60 years in operation and a reputation built on craftsmanship, selective partnerships, and long-term relationships. With approximately $120M in annual revenue and a team of 70 including self-perform capabilities they deliver projects up to $35M across mixed-use, healthcare, retail, convenience, and commercial sectors.
Description
- Lead commercial construction projects from ground-up to closeout, typically $10M-$35M+.
- Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client communication to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee all phases of construction, including planning, procurement, field coordination, and quality control.
- Collaborate closely with APMs, superintendents, and field teams to maintain job progress and resolve onsite challenges.
- Review and manage contracts, cost reports, RFIs, change orders, and documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Ensure safety standards and company procedures are upheld across project sites.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance within the project team.
Profile
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proven ability to run projects $10M+ (ground-up experience required).
- Strong understanding of construction means/methods, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience in sectors such as mixed-use, healthcare, retail, or fuel/convenience is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across dispersed job sites
