Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer - Fabrication - Syracuse Area
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Design, analyze, and implement fabrication and machining techniques to meet customer specifications.

My client is a family-owned company specializing in fabricated parts and value engineering for industrial clients worldwide. Operating from a 100,000+ sq. ft. facility, they offer full-service machining and fabrication with production and quality all operating at one location. They are growing rapidly and have a very strong company culture.
Description
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, analyze, and implement fabrication and machining techniques to meet customer specifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to enhance CNC machining, welding, and cutting operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.
- Work closely with quality control to maintain high standards in all manufacturing operations.
- Assist in the selection and integration of new tools, materials, and automation technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in machining, fabrication, and metal processing techniques.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, and process automation.
- Hands-on problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles is a plus.
