Docketing and Court Filing Clerk
The Docketing and Court Filing Clerk will play a key role in managing legal documentation, ensuring timely and accurate court filings, and maintaining compliance with all procedural requirements. This position is perfect for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for the legal field that wan'ts to be versatile and build a skillset in two areas of legal support.

Description
- Manage and maintain the docketing system to ensure accuracy and compliance with court deadlines.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other administrative agencies.
- Monitor and track court calendars and deadlines, providing timely reminders to legal teams.
- Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure all filings meet procedural requirements.
- Conduct thorough reviews of court rules and updates to ensure adherence to filing standards.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of case-related documents and notices.
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding case statuses and filing requirements.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all court filings and related documentation.
Profile
A successful Docketing and Court Filing Clerk should have:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 1+ years of experience, ideally as a Paralegal doing e-filing, or a Court Clerk
- Experience in electronic filing using CM/ECF, NYSCEF and ACMS.
- Experience using CourtAlert or comparable docketing software.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with legal docketing software and court filing systems.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures within professional services.
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks.
