Control Systems Engineer | Machinery
This Control Systems Engineer involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineers, project leaders, clients, and vendors. You'll be expected to apply strong technical expertise and sound judgment to develop reliable, high-performing systems-all while balancing cost, quality, and deadlines.

The company offers scalable solutions, from benchtop automation to full-scale production lines, capable of handling feed rates up to 1,800 parts per minute
Description
Responsibilities:
Develop control system architecture and automation strategies for high-precision industrial equipment.
Lead the design and integration of electrical control systems, working alongside design engineers, drafters, and technicians.
Generate accurate Bills of Material and support procurement processes.
Contribute to a collaborative engineering environment and assist on multiple projects in various capacities, from lead engineer to support programmer.
Create and debug control programs including PLC, HMI, robotic, and vision-based systems.
Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders throughout the design, build, and testing phases to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
Ensure all control systems meet internal quality standards and comply with ISO and other regulatory guidelines.
Incorporate Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices in all project phases.
Profile
Skills & Experience Required:
In-depth understanding of electrical design, automation systems, and related codes and standards.
Proficiency in programming and integrating control platforms such as Rockwell Automation PLCs and motion controllers.
Experience designing and implementing robotic and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with industrial networking, including IT/OT integration and SQL-based data systems.
Hands-on programming ability with high-level languages (e.g., Visual Basic, C#).
CAD skills with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
Practical knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and Smart Manufacturing technologies.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
Strong technical communication skills-written and verbal-with the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Analytical thinking and solid math skills for real-world engineering problem solving.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in control systems or automation engineering preferred.
